
Stephen Allen from isentra joins RedCAT at BCC Global Annual Conference
Stephen Allen, COO of isentra—part of our forward-thinking RedCAT network—joined Professor Miranda Barker OBE, CEO of the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and Chair of RedCAT, on the Green Innovation panel at this year’s British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Global Annual Conference.
The panel focussed on the opportunities that low carbon technologies present to both the UK and the global market.

Together, they explored the strategic role of low-carbon innovation in meeting the UK's climate and economic ambitions. Topics included barriers to scaling clean technologies such as skills shortages, policy challenges, and innovation funding—and the critical role of collaboration between business and government in overcoming them.
Stephen spoke about the challenges and successes of commercialising clean technologies. His insights highlight the essential role that cleantech companies like isentra play in driving sustainable growth, innovation, and export leadership for the UK.
Dr. Devane emphasized the scientific certainty of the climate's direction of travel and the dual imperative of not only innovating for future systems but also adapting to the climate conditions we are going to find ourselves facing very soon. Martin Baxter highlighted IEMA's commitment to empowering environmentally proactive businesses on the path to decarbonisation.
Nigel Milton spoke about how Heathrow stands as a business at a pivotal moment—facing a growing need to address the climate challenge while also seeking innovative solutions to ensure the sector's continued growth. He discussed the potential of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
